This is House of English — a creative homestay experience for French and German teens who want to live the language, not just study it.
We’re a couple of teachers, creators, mentors, and music lovers based in Folkestone on England’s south coast. We open our home to young people who want to explore English with creativity, confidence, and a deeper cultural vibe.
Think of it as your English home away from home — with better music, better stories, and a family who gets it.
Who We Are
We’re Randolph & Sjoukje — artists, coaches, and global citizens with a deep passion for people and storytelling.
We’ve worked with international brands like L’Oréal and Nivea, coached CEOs, and supported emotional well-being and creativity across generations.
Sjoukje is and international model and well being coach who speaks English, French, German, Italian, and Dutch — and brings a love of languages, history, and cultural traditions into every conversation.
Randolph is an international vocalist composer and business coach with roots multidisciplinary , stage presence, and expression. Together, we create a space where students don’t just learn English — they feel it, live it, and carry it with them.
Between us we’ve have travelled and worked in over 40 countries and we know what it means to feel seen, heard, and welcomed in a new culture. That’s exactly what we offer to the students who stay with us.
